What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 2

This week, Year 6 were introduced to a CAD (computer aided design) software. We now know that software can be used to create models on the computer which can then be translated into real life. We talked about  the pros of using CAD and it’s real-world applications.

Then, we explored Tinkercad and played around with inserting 3D shapes, toggling the view and moving objects. This software was tricky to use, but the class displayed excellent resilience and even managed to create some 3D pictures! Take a look…
