What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 2

Year 6 have started their new writing cycle based on the wonderful text, Sky Song  by Abi Elphinstone. This text links to our new geography topic which is centered around the polar regions. The children are creating their own polar kingdom and describing it using figurative language. We have loved working in pairs this week to brainstorm ideas together in order to brainstorm wonderful language, before writing independently. Well done Year 6!
