What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 2

This week, Year 6 absolutely loved their workshop on black, British art. They learnt about some of the beautiful creations by Lubaina Himid, Soniya Boyce and Yinka Shonibare. They analysed some of the messages that were being conveyed by these arts through their work and thought carefully about how colours, forms and shapes used by artists can contribute to these meanings.

Year 6 are getting very stuck into preparing for their end of year performance. They are loving acting, singing and dancing through their days in order to share their amazing performance with the school at the end of this half term!
