15 Mar What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 4
This week, to celebrate British Science Week, the children in Year 6 have been conducting an enquiry: Why are dinosaurs extinct?
The were able to apply some of their prior biology knowledge about the process of evolution to make predictions about how life on earth has changed and therefore how the survival of dinosaurs may have been impacted.
In pairs or small groups, the children then used secondary sources to conduct their research and unpick some of the scientific theories around the enquiry question. Take a look at some of their discoveries…
