What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 6

In our next writing cycle, we are going to be retelling the events of the Nazi invasion from the perspective of Joseph’s youngest daughter, Bronia. We drew our own story map to ensure we were clear about the key events within the chapter. We added ambitious language from the text to our maps.

The children then worked in trios to conduct interviews with Bronia. We came up with these sentences to use within our writing. You can see that we are becoming really ambitious with our use of figurative language and high-level vocabulary- what fantastic writers Year 6 are!
