What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 7

Year 6 have had an exciting week this week! On Monday and Tuesday, we were lucky to be visited by Bethany from the Anne Frank Trust. During the workshop, we learnt about different social groups and how they could be discriminated against. We took part in debates and expressed our opinions eloquently using oracy skills.

The children also learnt about the life and treatment of Anne Frank. Children sensitively discussed this topic and learnt lots of great facts. At the end of the workshop, we even got into groups and created our own presentations and performances summarising our learning.
