What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 7

This half term, Year 6 have been working hard on designing a tsunami alarm. This has cropped up a few times in our newsletters and I am sure you all want to see the final results! I think you will all agree that the children have worked tirelessly to create a fantastic final product. They created a working circuit, with some children choosing to include a buzzer (alarm) and a lightbulb- not easy. The children then worked on meeting our final design criteria: making it durable, waterproof and aesthetically pleasing.

This is evidence of just one lesson where they have worked hard, however I must congratulate Year 6 on their determination and resilience in all subjects this half term. Keep it up Year 6, and Merry Christmas!!!!
