What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 8

Year 6 have had a great half term. We are working hard in lessons to get lots of our ideas down and demonstrate our learning. We are also becoming increasingly independent and resilient- great skills to have in life.

We have worked hard to design and create our final print in Art. Using the artwork of Yinka Shonibare as inspiration, we designed and used polystyrene to create our tile. We used brayer rollers to carefully roll paint onto our tile, before printing them to create our Shonibare inspired print.
