Year 5, A2, Week 4

Year 5 had a wonderful trip to the River Lea navigation canal this week. This links with their geography unit of Rivers and Mountains. They enjoyed seeing lots of different waterways, walking over different types of bridges and they even saw a lock fill up! The children learnt all about erosion, the meanders in a river and they were able to see a section of confluence (the area where two rivers meet).
