What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 2

On Friday morning, Year 6 went to visit the Ben Kinsella Trust Exhibition in Islington.

As part of our PSHE curriculum, the children in upper key stage 2 start to learn about some of the social issues that are present in our local communities. The workshop focused on ensuring that children know how to spot signs of danger and what to do with these when they are out and about.

Through real-life stories, Year 6 learnt about some of the personal responsibilities that they have when in a public domain and also some of the reasons as to why laws and regulations have been put in place to help keep people protected.
