What’s happening in Year 6 – Week 4

In Year 6 this week, we have  been working on describing characters from our key text “Macbeth.” We re-read key parts of the text and magpied fantastic language ,which helped us build up an image in our mind of the characters of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.

We thought about the impact of figurative language, interesting adjectives and verbs and show me, don’t tell me descriptions on the reader. We worked in pairs to collaborate on ideas for our writing and share the vocabulary choices we particularly liked from the text.
